Where to eat and drink

Take a day trip to the largest adventure pool in the Tyrol region. A sure-fire hit for the whole family, you’ll be zooming down water slides, splashing about in the wave pool, or riding the world’s first double looping waterslide.

Waterpark fun 

Whether you’re on a hike and looking for a quick dip, or planning a lazy day of sunbathing and swimming, some of the region’s warmest lakes are within easy reach. The nearby ‘lake plateau’ region boasts four stunning swimming lakes. 

Alpine swimming

Rafting fans should head for the Ötztal River, which will keep adrenaline levels high with its world-cup rafting route. However, the easy-going conditions of Inn River are ideal for families with younger kids or anyone seeking a gentler introduction rafting. 

Paddles at the ready

Alpbach is also very close to the Inn River, which opens up even more opportunity for great riding.  Famous for its epic cycle path, there are some stunning day trips along the Inn River from nearby Innsbruck or Schwaz.

Classic cycle routes

Alpbach prides itself on its offering of high-quality, traditional mountain food. For the most authentic experience of Tyrol cuisine, head to the local mountain huts where great food is served with a gorgeous view and typical Tyrolean cheer.

Eat local

Admire the view as you travel up the mountain by cable car to Lauserland. It’s packed with adventure stations including slides, climbing towers, a giant bouncy air-cushion, a great rope course, and the star attraction: the Alpine Coaster.
